We are very excited and grateful for the opportunity to advance the PrayUSA Initiative through a wonderful new partnership with Emmy-nominated actress and executive producer, Roma Downey. Downey is best known for her nine seasons on the hit CBS television show, Touched by an Angel, and more recently, for a number of faith-based projects. Along with her husband, Mark Burnett and through their organization, Lightworkers Media, Downey has produced two well received series, The Bible and A.D.: The Bible Continues, as well as the movie, Son of God. Her career has spanned nearly 27 years and she works seamlessly on both sides of the camera. Downey’s newest project, Answered Prayers, is a TLC series that highlights inspiring and real stories of individuals who have experienced the power of answered prayer.
